Newsletters

The Topeka TCF Chapter publishes a newsletter four times a year. Included in these newsletters is information about upcoming support group meetings, special memorial events, a section titled “We Remember” remembering the birthdays and death anniversary dates of children who have died, articles written by bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings, articles on various aspects of the grief journey from both professionals and bereaved family members, as well as poetry honoring the lives of all those who “left too soon”.

We encourage Chapter members to submit articles and/or poems for publication and Chapter members may also choose to sponsor a newsletter in memory of their child, grandchild or sibling. Chapter members may also elect to submit a Memory Page with photos, etc. about their loved one. There is no charge to receive the newsletter but since we rely on donations to pay for its printing and postage, we encourage Chapter members to either sponsor a newsletter for $30 or send in a Love Gift in any amount to help underwrite our Chapter’s expenses.

We also ask that Chapter members notify us of any change of address for receipt of the newsletter. PLEASE keep in mind that the Chapter must pay return postage on every newsletter that is returned by the Post Office for an incorrect address. So please take the time to let us know if you have an address change so you won't miss any issues of the newsletter.  Changes of address may be sent to: Topeka Compassionate Friends c/o Midland Care Connection, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800 or emailed to: tcftopeka@gmail.com

If you would like to be added to our newsletter mailing list you may send your name, full mailing address, email address, telephone #, along with deceased child/grandchild/sibling’s name/dates to the Midland Care Connection address above or you may email this information.
